Wow where's the music gone? I've put on ALEXANDER'S ANNEXE on Warp records and it feels like being a mouse inside a grandfather clock. Or sweeping up on your own after pub closing. After 4 minutes of that a little boy has sneaked in and has started gently pushing piano keys. It's actually quite atmospheric after the rock blight of 5 minutes ago. Experimentally sound, soundly experimental and quite Halloween, with plenty of opportunity to stroke your beard. A collaboration from Mira Calix, Sarah Nicolls, David Sheppard.
